I had been waiting on my passport for more than a year as i had not paid the police bribe the first time, i received a letter from the passport seva department that i have failed to prove my citizenship. Hence after a year when i went back, he upfront asked for the bribe, i gave it to him and got my passport issued in the next month. My verification was done at the DUM DUM PS Kolkata not at home & i do not know the name of the officer i was set up with.
