Delay in payment of taxes by BBMP officials

I had filled and submitted my tax for payment to BBMP by taking a DD. But the BBMP guy had delayed the payment as he had misplaced the DD which I had given him. It took almost 2 months for him to find out the misplaced DD. Since by then the duration demanded a change in amount, he asked me to change the DD, which I refused because it was not my mistake. He made me roam around for 2 days and then subsequently an attendant corrected the amount in his data entry as advance payment for 5 rupees for which he demanded Rs.30 from me.
I was forced to pay bribe for no mistake of mine.
