The policeman from PS Division No. 2, Ludhiana, came to my house for police verification for issue of my passport. After filling the forms he demanded Rs 700.00 from me as "fees" saying that from others they charge Rs 1000.00. I had to pay the "fees", even though I had already received the passport and the police verification was late.
