Mr.Subbiah the Sanitary Inspector of Kodaikanal Municipality had asked for a bribe of Rs.5000 only to send the municipal lorry to collect the garbage.Over and above this every time the garbage persons come to collect the garbage we pay Rs.500 each time.
Because I didn't pay the bribe of Rs.5000 he did not collect my garbage for more than 14 days and it started smelling. I was forced to pay the bribe at the municipality office itself, even though I didn't want to pay the bribe.
