I unknowingly paid bribe

I want to inform that today i went to piplani police station situated in bhopal for police verification and officer who did my verification asked for 500/- at that time i thought its fees but when i came home then everyone told me that i had paid bribe to him so i was favour to take action against this bribe... Because bribe is bribe whether its of 5 rs or 50000 his name was probably mitesh this incident happened near apporx 4pm on 6 august But plz make sure that due to this action my passport will not delay...
