I was demanded a bribe

I collected receipt for the property tax at Vijinapura office then I found a mistake in the address. For correction of the same I was directed to Ramamurthy nagar BBMP office and approach lady computer operator by name Mrs. Savitha. She obliged to correct the same and did the correction and gave me the printout and demanded Rs.100/- for the same as correction fees.
After collecting the printouts by paying the money I asked the lady a receipt for Rs.100/-. She said there is no receipt for that. At this moment I realised that it is bribe and told that I will lodge a complain about this issue with higher officials and approach the local MLA. Suddenly she hesitated and returned the money and asked me not to make a complaint.
I got my money back but there were many people with same kind of errors in the receipts who were waiting to get them corrected. Even if there only ten of them one can imagine how much this lady could make in a day?
