Have you guys ever tried to get Residential Certificate in Bangalore? The Sub Registrar Office of Bomnahalli sent me to Tahsil office on KG Road, where dozens of touts will lure you from rates ranging from 1500 to 3000 just for Residential Certificate. If you go to office, the officers anc lerks make sure that you run atleast for a week, so you get frustrated and offer the money on your own. After a week or so, when you get fed with their complaints to get this or that proof everyday, turn back to the touts and they will get your certificate done without much proofs. I just happened to get that done after two weeks of struggle but with Rs 1000 gone off my pockets.
