My Father gifted a site to me which was in his name. The Khata was also in his name. To transfer the Khata to my name. I had submitted the application and viisted the office of Asst Revenue inspector and other BBMP Offices about 20 times in one year

IN spite of repeated visits to BBMP office about 20 times over one year period, Khata was not transferred from my Father's name to my name. After paying Rs. 17,000/- the Khata was transferred within 2 days. I have spent so much of time and fuel visiting these BBMP officials who have a list of requirements which are not documented on their website. It is very bad that the pribe amount is openly told in front of all the BBMP officials and accepted in front of all of them. saying that this amount goes to everyone here.
