I had to pay Rs 1500 so that there would not be any adverse/incomplete report in my name for my passport renewal. My original passport was issued under the Tatkal scheme without police verification in 2005. However, during post issue verfication an incomplete report was sent raising doubts about my nationality. I had refused to pay a bribe at that time.
