I was moving from Bremen Chowk to Pune University circle. The road narrows down at the end of it. Hence i have to come from the left side in the main road. Unfortunately for me i was overtaking a traffic cop in civil dress. Somehow he found my driving to be rash and he stopped me at university junction and said i need to be behind bars for one day till i get a bail for the rash driving offense. He threatened me for canceling my license, seizing my vehicle for month etc. I had no other way but to pay up although i was ready to fight it out in court if my vehicle was not seized and no other hazzles in terms of not giving back my DL and ID card etc. He seized my mobile no the moment i entered the station and was ready to give it to me to inform anybody till i paid up. Isnt it a violation of my rights as a citizen. He also threatened me with a case of attempt to murder.
