In the month of December last year to be precise 2010, i had to file papers for immigartion Canada, and the DOB mentioned in my marticulation certificate was not enuogh to fulfil the cretria and copy of Birth certificate was required.
So, i approached the local municipal office to get a copy of my birth certificate and filled up the necessary formalitites for that but to my surpirse the MCD official asked for Rs. 500. he assured if i pay then i will get it in two days otherwise it will take 1 month. considering the urgency i paid Rs 500
