Sir,
I hd purchased an office unit at Ub city from the builders of UB City(Prestige Group) and applied for khata transfer witrh all the required documents and 2% of stamp duty as khata transfer fees and received an acknowledgement for the same. However 6 months had passed I could not get the khata and then I approached the builders for the same namely Prestige group and they demandeed 25000/ to get the khata transferred in my name. On receiving the payment my Khata transfer got done in 15 days and later on I had tio make out one more draft as kahata transfer fees as the old draft was not deposited in the bank by BBMP offiicials again paying the cancellation fee and commissioon for the new draft. However I did not pay it directly but paid through the builders namely Prestige Group. I later came to understand that the officials of BBMP are collecting a standard amount if RS. 25000 to 50000 depending upon the area of the office unit get the khata transfer done for all the owners of office unit in the complex. and they have made crores illegally . Has anything being done to reign in these officials. Will this website conduct any proceedings regards the same.
