All most Indian pay bribe to update their service book.
It was my second visit to taluka education office.On my first visit , I assigned my service book to update my CCC exam certificate . The junior clerk stated that he was over burdened and my work would take more than 2 months time. Dahod is situated on boarder area of gujarat. A peon contacted me while I was leaving the office, he told me that if need to complete your work faster than he could help me. I asked how he could help me. He signed me in way of "Chay Pani" I wondered and looked at him. He added that everybody give it and nothing is uncommon. He counselled me with various benefits of it. It would save my time etc. I was very tired due to long travel. He said this "Vyavhar". He said everybody in office is involved. I looked at some officials and they said its ok. I surrendered and paid him Rs.300.
I was very much upset that I could not protest due to lac of time.
