Asking bribe for Name change - 2-4 K
I have been trying to get the title name change for more than a month. Once I logged a complaint on the Bescom website, I got a call after 2 weeks from the AW E10 sub division asking me to meet him in person, right then I knew he wants bribe. When I met him the next day, he was very rude and made me wait for more than 30 min and then said come later it is lunch hour now. I asked him to atleast tell me why you called me and what details or docs do you need, then he showed me one file which cost Rs. 360 and is available in E7 subdivision, He also mentioned that there you will find a contractor to whom you should give the file and he will do it, if not there is another contractor nearby and I will give you the contact details once you come to me with the file. i went to E7 subdivision, the person who provides the file was not available that day because some local channel was doing video recording. They made me run around and wait for 30 min and later I called the AW and he said I will get the file for you tomorrow, you come and meet him tomorrow, I met him the next day but the same thing, he said go to E7 again today and gave me contact number Nagraj who will help you. I went there and bought the file for Rs 370 and then Nagraj told I will get this done in 2 days if you pay me Rs. 2000, I said no then he offered next price 1800, I again said no and came back home after he warned me that it will take months like this and laughed about it. Then next day I complained again by calling Bescom Customer service 3-4 times and also called the Bescom AGM and member of the Grievance cell. I was told they are in some exhibition so cant meet this week. Finally today on sunday I am logging this report here. At this point, I feel this is going to take another month or I might face more problems in the coming weeks after logging 3-4 complaints. Is there someone who is ready to take this matter?? I have all the documents but nobody is ready to do a simple name change without paying atleast rs 2000 + 370 for the file
