Bribe demand at E-City, Bangalore

I would like to report this incident that happened with me and one of my friend coming with me one my Activa after some 3 small drinks at a nearby bar. They stopped us at ********** gate 5 without any reason that indicated we violated any traffic norm. On checking I was observed to have consumed alcohol and meter recording around 80 as compared to permissible 30.

They demanded a bribe of 1500 and assured that nothing would show up in the record of my bike or against my license number if I paid the amount.

However, me and my friend have ********** rooted convictions to not to pay bribe and hence we denied.

After discussion, they fined me noting bike no. and seizing at the same time.

I decided to go to court and ask for forgiveness as this was my first violation however at the same time it raises multiple questions on the way Traffic police is working in our city. I am proud to be Indian and I am against corruption. ********** **********!
