Bribe for Income Tax Refund
I was supposed to receive income tax refund for assessment year 2008-2009. after 8 months of filing my return i did not get my refund. on my visit to concerned office they asked me to send my CA. They told me that hire a CA and send him for getting your refund. I insisted that i know the process and you have to answer me about the status of my refund.
It took me 6 visits to the office. They sent me from one desk to other, reported that my DD was sent through courier and they have not received any details of it, the concerned clerk was transferred to other location, but finally they sent it to my registered address after 10 months.
I refused to pay bribe and opted for painful way of waiting and visiting department officials who did all effort to irritate me but i am happy that i did my bit.
