Bribe for mega contracts for Metro rail Projects
It was somewhere around September - October 2009 and i was working with an MNC in Kolkata and i had to go for a meeting for one of the upcoming Metro railway project of South Kolkata.
The meeting was with one of the Superintendents and it was a one to one meeting.
Before i could even start the meeting i was asked by the Superintendent that we have to satisfy three levels for getting anywhere near to bag the contract.
I was so much shocked that i could not speak anything after that and came out with a blank face and told my boss we can never ever bag any contracts if things like this continue in such big Govt. organisations.
