Bus conductor didnt return my 50 paise!
Never mind whether it is 50 paise or 50 lakhs. Cheating is cheating!
Happened 3 months back. I travelled from ********** to Erode in a Government bus. The conductor got ticket money and gave me the ticket alone without giving me the 50 paise change. I understand their trouble in handling many passengers. However, it is their duty and they are paid for their duty.
But when I asked my 50 paise back, he started yelling at me with very bad words (like... "Am I goignt o build ********** Mahal with ur 50 paise?!") and I was so ashamed by his activity. I started yelling back at him.
May passengers told me to keep quiet but I didnt. Atlast he said "give me 50 paise and I will give you one rupee". I gave him 50 paise and got my 1 Rupee.
Funny thing was, soon after this, a lady who was sitting next to me, gave him 50 paise and asked for 1 Rupee and many passengesr in the bus did the same and got their proper change back.
People just need an inititaive and I am happy that I taught the conductor and many of my co- Indians a good lesson :)
