To carry two laptops with, when come back from Germany
It happened on 19th December, 2010. I was travelling back from Germany after a business trip. I was carrying two laptops with me when I landed in Trivandrum airport.On seeing that during the scanning an official asked me to go and ********** another person with those laptops. So I went there and met an old guy. There were one person there talking to him about the same matter. The official was telling that guy that if he had the bills for the personal laptop and authorization letter for the other there would not be any problem. I was a little happy on hearing that as I had both of these with me. He asked me about the laptops by handing over the guy to another official. I told him that one is my personal one and the other for business purpose. I showed him the bills of my personal laptop, which says that I bought it from India. And also I showed him the authorization letter from my German office about the second laptop. But, suddenly the scene changed. He was saying that these docs are not enough :). I was totally surprised. I asked him about the art of changing the rules for different persons. He was not answering me properly. Then he started asking about
1. what all are the other things I am carrying with,
2. Do I have any liquor bottle with,
3. What is my salary etc etc.
I was not ready to answer those questions. The argument between lasted for more than half an hour. I was totally tired and was really ********** off on hearing his bull ********** talks. He was asking me to pay a fine. But I know that with these docs two laptops should be allowed to carry with. At last I kept the company laptop and a copy of the authorization letter there and took a snap of that, keeping him in the background. I told him that you keep it here. I am leaving now, and will come to get this laptop later. I started walking away from him. Then one of his colleague came to me and gave the laptop back :) Thanking my Samsung Galaxy, for its HD camera.... :)
