City Roads Found to be Highly Unsafe for Pedestrians

Reported on December 5, 2012 from Hyderabad , Telangana  ι Report #31109

I dont understand the traffic police efficiency in really working the road issues, like proper lighting, preventing accidents etc. I just wanted to write this from very long time, but was little scared as government got to know where it hurts the most,(Freedom of Speech). Lets not deviate you all about my Traffic Police Ingovernance in tackling the road accidents in Hyderabad, theyt have failed to prevent any loss of life whiich happens on day to day basis, but still i have not seen any case of any media agency or civil society taking part and actually questioning them for their ingovernance.
I want them to immediately bring some managment who really can improve the experience of travelling on roads in Hyderabad. I have a feeling that our Traffic Police guys does not command a nice space in the heart of everyone out there, as they are more busy in stopping veichles, automobile's and other means of transport for churning more amount of money. (Guys nd Gals u must be knowing one thing that these guys have the target set for around some 10 to 15 lakhs per station).
But when i see the statistic in this lovely city my heart goes burning down.

Level of pollution is unmanagable
Noise Pollution never the care taken of
Number of accidents everyday (Source: Hindu, The dance of death on the roads in and around the capital continued with 563 people killed in road accidents in the first four months of this year. Notwithstanding the various special drives undertaken by the traffic police, and claims of better infrastructure by civic authorities, the death toll in road accidents has gone up in both Hyderabad and Cyberabad Commissionerates. As per the statistics revealed by the Hyderabad Traffic Department, till December 23, there were 2,590 road accidents took place in the city, in which 2,481 persons have suffered injuries and 426 persons have lost their lives)

So once again i request you to all keep asking them questions, do debate with governing body that's the only way we all can work out an effective public partnership harmony model.
