Corrupt Sub-Regsitrar of Koramangla BDA & his Clerk would must be millionaire
When you walk in to the sub-registrar office in Koramangla BDA complex, it sounds so good to read - Please do not entertain touts. 10 mins inside the office and now you understand why? Because all employees there itself are touts. This clerk who accepts marriage registration form will behave like he is president of United States, he seems to be an illiterate person and no knowledge or civic sense of how to behave. Fill up a form, if printed online or bought from somewhere else and give to him, he will tore it off and asks to buy from the one selling on the stairs outside office. idiotic. We must file RTIs to know how many applications he accepts daily and how much time it takes for release of registration certificates.
For whatever reason, even if your documents are complete he will keep behaving like a nagging wife and then if you ask more questions he answers - Come Tomorrow or ********** the person outside. There is his old Grandfather(Tout) sitting outside who will ask for 2000 bucks and will get your certificate within 10 mins. Even at an average of 30 Marriage Registrations weekly, The Sub-Regsitrar and his bad-behaviour Clerk would be making whopping 2.5 lakhs a month/Rs 30 Lakhs a year. if they are there in this chair for last 5-10 years, guess they must be self-made millionaire by now.
Anyway we did not pay bribes, and nothing to guess that our marriage is not yet registered in bangalore.
