Corruption at dme (directorate of medical education) bangalore
Mr.X in Directorate of Medical Education Bangalore (DME) had demanded a bribe of Rs.2000/Rs.5000 from all of us, the newly passed out MBBS graduates working as interns (house surgeons) in govt.District hospitals, for releasing their monthly stipend amount of Rs.8000. The bribe amount had to be paid as soon as the 1st stipend amount is released, failing which the person threatened of not releasing the stipend for the next consecutive months.
Few interns had already paid partial amount and majority of us had decided not to bribe.
now unexpectedly after the raid in dme bangalore, MR.X has called us back and has assured us to return the money which he had already recieved as bribe, in few days.
