Just got off plane from Bangkok and after immigration stamped my passport on arrival, there is a person right at the exit before you go to baggage claim. He was checking whether the immigration fellow had stamped the passport and that slip properly. He asked me whether I understood Hindi to which I said yes. He looked at my address and said when are you going to Gujarat, I said tomorrow and he asked: 'by train?' I said yes.
The guy dressed in immigration (blue uniform) said: 'Get me two bottles of liquor from duty free. I will pay you USD since you don't have any liquor and you are allowed 2ltrs per person.'
This person would have definitely gone out and sold it at a premium price.
I said: 'Mein peeta nahi, aur peelata nahi!' and left.
