EXCELLENT CUSTOMS OFFICER - NO BRIBE REQUIRED
I recently visited Mumbai and had brought along a LED TV from overseas. Based on past horror stories, I was almost certain that I will get harassed and asked for a bribe. But to my great surprise the customs officer on duty just quizzed me on the value and then calculated the customs duty and asked me to pay it. All over in 10 mins. The customs officer Ms ******* was very gracious and friendly and treated me with respect all along. We need more people like her; please do send this to the customs desk in Mumbai, we should publicize good stories as much as the bad ones. *******
