FALSE ALLEGATIONS FOR NOT PAYING BRIBE
The officer on duty tried to extort bribe from me. When I refused and asked to give me a receipt and challan, he said you will have to appear in court only to collect your license back. I said ok, then he mentioned certain sections of Act (179) which were not applicable to the claimed offence against me, since I had provided him all the information as requested by him with due respect.
When i requested to mention the action/offence done by me only then I would sign on the challan,he tried to threaten me by saying that he will take me to police station. I said lets go then. He then started shouting, and then said he will not go, and he will not give my license back or give challan. When i insisted that without challan, I want my license back, or else I will have to register a complaint against him, he started shouting, and gave me receipt without my signature and said you go anywhere you want.
Further, when i requested him to mention his name and his tag number on the receipt, he got enraged and started talking rashly as if i am a street thug.
This is not a decent respectful behaviour by a police cop. And i demand a strict action against the said cop.
