I did not pay bribe
I applied for my 7 month old baby's passport. The status did not change to processed even after a month I submitted the form which usually should happen in a week. I went to the Passport office to Inquire about the status. There were hundreds like me. I had to stand for 3-4 hours outside the office to be able enter into the office. Inside again had to stand for at least 2 hours, so that I could speak to the officer who checks and tells status. After 3 visits like that I could get an appointment with the regional passport officer. After2 visits they found the file but again forgot to process. Finally after one more visit, the file was processed. It took more than 2 months to issue
