I had refused to pay the bribe to the police guy who came to my home for address verification. Later i got notice that address verification has failed. And also when I asked for the refund of money that I paid while applying for passport it was not refunded. Here it is impossible to get a passport without paying bribe. I've again applied for a new passport and this time I guess I will just pay the bribe because paying 500 Rs is better than trying to explain your situation to officials of passport office they talk like they're king or something and you're their servant.
