If corruption is stamped out today, India will become a super power in less than five years.
It is a common practice in India. I went in Bengaluru to see a state government official in 1971 to find out the procedure to start a small scale industry and the door keeper (or whatever you can call him) demanded money to let me in. When I refused, he told me that the officer is not in. I will not be surprised if you have to pay bribe to buy something as ordinary as postage stamps. If corruption is stamped out today, India will become a super power in less than five years.
