It's not about doing what is comfortable, it's about doing what is right.

Reported on August 29, 2011 from Ahmedabad , Gujarat  ι Report #31542

I was driving on the road shamelessly without a helmet,PUC and with an expired learning license. I got caught few meters away from my house. They threatened me and demanded 500rs, I tried to bargain so they got settled on 200rs but when I asked about receipt, they denied. Unfortunately i did signed a no corruption pact held by art of living few days ago. Now i was in a limbo,I took the decision of not paying the money. Now it was there turn, they started bargaining, they came to the level of 50rs,but I was determined. They deported my vehicle. It took me whole day to get my vehicle back. There were several temptations given to me in the R.T.O office but I managed to overcome them.At last when i went to local commissioner to take my keys(for those all who are new this is the last step of the procedure)
his words were ...."so did you enjoyed the whole thing...instead you could have directly gave me the money..."....I replied "It's not about doing what is comfortable, it's about doing what is right."
