LIC Housing Finance Engineers

I have applied a Home Loan with LIC Housing finance, a Public sector undertaking. The Technical Engineers demanded Rs 1000 per loan for issuing the evaluation report. But I declined to pay them. I escallated to their officials, but no action was taken on those engineers
