I paid bribe of Rs 3000 for Katha transfer in BBMP Kengeri office Bangalore though I had all the genuine documents. A case worker named Shrirama asked me for a bribe in his cabin by saying he has to pay to seniors too. He will not be available during office hours usually and gives lots of excuses not being in office and his senior officers do not bother if we complaint. When he verified my documents he found 2 tax paid receipts which are paid via Bangalore one center. He said application will get rejected without the computer receipt for the same. After I got my Katha transferred in my name and I requested for computer receipts for the one I have paid via Bangalore one center. Another case worker said, they will issue computer generated receipts only if I pay via BBMP.
