Paid nothing to correct my name on my son's birth certificate
My son born in 2006. In his birth certificate in the name field, my name was appearing first following his given name. But school argued that, first naem should appear first. I was sent to correct that. since I was 800km away from Koppa, Chikmaglur, Karnataka, I authorized my aunty to do that work. Neither they did the job nor they told the way to do it. She paid 200 Rs. then I found the way to correct that, then I sent my wife with the affidavit, putting his given name first following that my name. Then, the registrar was angry, he delayed giving the certificate, finally he gave after 30 days in Kannada, then I asked for English version, he gave one with lots of spelling mistake and taken 200 Rs. from my wife.
Finally, I went, sticking my mobile phone in my pocket such that only the camera lens is just above the pocket level. He corrected all the mistakes and returned in 30 min without taking single ruppee bribe.
