Passport Officer at Ghaziabad asked for Rs. 2500 Bribe
I had requested for renewal of my passport at Ghaziabad Regional Passport Office in Nov 2010 as my passport was getting expired in begining of March 2011.
I wanted to add name of my wife in my renewed passport and submitted all the relevant documents. A few days after my request I saw message on passport site asking for attested copy of my marriage certificate. I provided the same to the passpor office through my agent.
However till date my application is lying with passport office Ghaziabad and on checking with them for the reason of delay thet asked me for Rs. 2500/- to issue me renewed passport.
