Police asking for a bribe
Hi ,
I am resident of kopargaon, district ahmednagar. I have lost my driving license and want this to be registered in police station so that my document should not be used for illegal purpose.
I went to police station to get it done. Police Agrawal who was responsible for this asked me for 200 Rs for this work . I said ok and paid him the amount and he handed over me the registration.
When i asked him for the receipt of 200 he started fighting and took bak the document from me and started asking me fot the things that i did not have like xerox of driving license.
Similar cases has been seen for my passport verification . They charge RS 500 fr verification without any receipt. When will this stop in India.
