Police hand in Gloves with the accussed and terrorising Victim.

Victim Neetu Alias Neelu Dixit D/o Ravindra Shukla, Village-Jaitapur, Post-Jaitapur, Filed an FIR on 12/08/2014 having FIR No. 468/2014 in Auraiya Police Station against her in Laws under Section 307/498A/504/304... . Incident took place on 10/08/2014, in which accused inlaws started beating her and then tried to ablaze her by pouring kerosene on Victim, due to lots of hue and cry the attempt failed. in simple word this is a case of attempt to dowry death. Accussed were torturing her since her marriage for more and more dowry. Victim is having no brother so accussed are demanding Bike, agricultural land and beating her up many times. Victim is also having a 1 year old daughter. After failed attempt to ablaze her, these inhuman accused thrown out victim along with her 1 year old daughter for the house. This entire incident took place at 10:00 PM. Now police is in hand in gloves with the accused. instead of taking action against accused police is terrorising and pressurising Victim to withdraw her case. it is believed that police is heavily bribed by the accused in order to save themselves from any legal action. Victims father also threatened by the Accused for dire consequences. Victims father complained to the Auraiya police station about this. till date no action is taken by the police against accused. Victims urged to the police for change of investigating officer. present investigating officer Mrs Shubhadra Verma (SO Mahila Thana) & Brij Mohan Verma (SO Auraiya Police station) both are famous in Auraiya for reasons best known to the department. there hand in gloves attitude with the accused and lackluster attitude in the matter is proving hurdle for victim to get justice. the unethical modus-operandi of Auraiya police tarnishing the image of Police and vitiating the environment in which common citizen is losing its faith in the system.
