Policemen ask 1500/- bribe for passport verification

Place- Thana Naini ( Allahabad)
Time- 3:00pm
I have been asked for 1500/- bribe for police verification i.e. still pending coz I didn't pay them till. What should i do now.
The policemen was on casual dress so I can't able to know the name but he do take care of verification department for passport in our area.
