Ratu to Ranchi
I live in Bokaro. For NTSE exam of my son I went to Ratu, Ranchi by car. While coming from Ratu to Ranchi near Governor there is One Way Traffic. As I was an outsider I was not knowing this. And entered that road following a motor cycle. As soon as I enter that road the Traffic Police came out of their den and caught me, as how I have entered that One Way Road. On my showing that I am a new to this place and there is nowhere marked that this road is One Way, and as also if it one way than you (Traffic Police) should have been there and not hiding somewhere. They didn't give any ear to all my arguments and tried their level best to extract money from me. Realising their motto I insisted for the fine. Then they told me that DSP Traffic is sitting somewhere away and you have to go there by your car alongwith me. I asked him to sit in my car, as he sat in my car, I straightway took him to SSP, Ranchi, Office. As soon as the car car stopped there he tried to fled out of the car, but I litterly got hold of him to produce him to SSP Ranchi. Though I dared to do this and I wasted my 2 hours there, but how many can do this. Traffic Police are there everytime, everywhere, anywhere to make money out of you, how many times one can resist. Everytime no one, even I cann't take them to SSP Office. And do you think this has stopped at that One Way Road, or that Traffic Police has stopped making money by hiding behind the One Way Road. The Answer is a big big 'NO'. And I the same person while coming from Ranchi station to main Road, again caught on the One Way Road. And again no sign board was there and no traffic police was there. Traffic Police were waiting for me under the over bridge. And this time as I was in a hurry I paid 300 Rs. instead to take them to SSP Ranchi. Don't you think if India will be police-free country and the salary paid to them is diverted in some schemes, the crime will come down to 10 %.
