Refund Cheque
I went to I.T. Office to inquire about the status of my refund after 15-16 months of filing return. I met the concerned person and checked that my refund cheque was ready 2 months ago. I found it from the date on cheque.
He asked me to come outside office and asked me money for tea. I told him bluntly that I have paid income tax which I have to pay genuinely, now I dont have money for you. And I have asked him that if I will not get my refund within a week I will file an RTI application.
Hopefully, within a week I got the same cheque at my home.
