Saved RS 5,000 but utilize power of Police Dept.
In Jan.2008, I arrived in Delhi with all the required documents for name change is passport. However, A lady officer suggested me to talk with people those are standing outside the premises (Commission Agents). I went out and ********** with 2 -3 different they heard me more calmly than lady officer and asked at least INR 5,000. They told me that they will pay 4,000 to that lady officer and as I do not have enough time so money could be go higher but still they will manage for me.
Next day I met with my neighbor (Working in Delhi Police). He met with me as a foreign return and asked me if anything he can do for me.. I decided to tell him the story. when I finished he told me Okieee I will go with you.. everything will be fine..Next day we both arrived at Bikajikama place Delhi and met with same Lady officer again.. My neighbor uncle went in her office without permission and introduce himself with his position. And straight after that she put her lovely signature on my file and I got my new renewed passport in next 10 days.
I agree the way I chose was still corrupt but it was helpless on that time.
