Traffic rule violation

This happened a few months ago.When I entered a one-way road by mistake a constable got hold of me and asked to pay a bribe of 200 or he'll take me to inspector. Luckily I choose to go to inspector because I have all other documents proper. He just took 100 and gave a printed receipt too.
