[Transfer of Vehicle]-Indiranagar
This was my friends incident. I went with him. When we were about to enter the building, a guy approached me saying what i want? I said vehicle transfer. I could feel the smell of bribe. He approached for help. I ignored and walked. We followed all the procedures. By the end he came near and took our certificates and said its not possible and said some lame reasons. We were sure that its not an issue. So moved out and came back again. The the process was successful.
What I could make out is that, he want us to get into trouble and tempt us to take his help. Such a crooked method to get money. The process is 350 if going straight forward method. If i go through, it will cost 800.
Secondly, there are people in police department who take vehicles from no-parking slots. These guys are not actually police employees. These guys are contract employees to pick vehicles using JCB/lorey. They will be standing in front of police station and will give your vehicle if you pay twice the amount. I saw them collecting amount.
