Was asked openly, but refused
My wife and 2 small daughters went for verification. All was fine and we met the police head, Mr ******* , very gentleman and nice person. Spoke with us granted and asked us to go. While going out we were asked to give papers back to the original person, who openly asked for money. I reluctantly walked away with my family, he yelled my name and called me back.
At this point i fumbled with my wallet and removed 50 rupee note, he said keep it for yourself and started asking where i lived.
By this time my wife was quite agitated and so was i. We walked away saying read my form it is with you.
And started going back to the chief to complain, another fellow came running and stopped my wife from going in, pleading that he will lose his job and how sorry he was.
I so would have liked to see these guys ********** in lockup for harrassing public and taking bribes in police stn. That fellow i recognised as history sheeter as he was same fellow who had taken money from me when I did my passport few years back.
