Some time back a traffic police man stopped me near salarjung Museum and asked for all the documents. I had all but pollution check, which was expired. I said I have to pay penalty. Initially I resisted saying I forgot getting pollution check done but will make sure I'll do it today. With that said he asked me to pay Rs. 100 to him, for which I asked is this penalty. He said yes pay me Rs 100 and leave else I have to pay Rs 300 for challan. By this time police man's tone wasn't very pleasant. I said to police man "Why should I pay you rather I pay government." Right after this this suddenly he became polite and requested me to ********** his superior on other side of road and pay him and get reciept.
I really liked and enjoyed the change in policeman's behavior when he realized I will stick to rules and won't pay bribe.
