Dear Sir,

I have got my passport renewed. As per the process, the verification seems to be done later on.

I got a call from local police man and he has asked to come to police station and bring the relevant documents. I am really concerned as the way he was talking doesnt seems to be very professional. Since I am working and was in a position to go and meet him immediately, he was asking me to come late in the evening.

Request you to please help me to understand my rights for the verification and what should I do in this situation?
