Duplicate driver's license
My wife lost her wallet which had her driver's license.
We went to the KR Puram, Bangalore RTO to obtain a duplicate license. To our surprise, the KR Puram RT Office did not make an entry in their register while issuing the 4 wheeler license. So the RTO has entered in the records to go start all over again with a fresh driving license test.
Proofs produced:
Copy of the license issued at KR Puram RTO.
Reference no. from the motor driving school register that the candidate has been issued the license on 24 Oct 2007.
Fortunately the Indiranagar RTO where she took her two wheeler license had an entry, so the RTO at KR Puram is ready to issue just the 2 wheeler's license.
Irresponsibility of the clerks/officers at the RTO has caused this. Whom to approach to file a complaint? Lokayuktha or any upper line in the RTO?
