I am going to build a new 3 story house in Bangalore. It will have 3 floors and 6 houses. That might be around 6000 sqft.

Do I need to have transformer for my building? I read in Bescom handbook that Transaformer are requires for building which has 800 sq meters built up area. Which is almost 8600 sqft.
