I am holding a Driving license issued in Gujarat State. The license is expiring on 9th Aug 2014. But currently I am residing in BHIMAVARAM in Andhra Pradesh. When I approached the RTO authorities here I was asked to obtain No Objection Certificate from issuing Office in Gujarat for renewal of license here in BHIMAVARAM. Is this correct ? Must I compulsorily get NOC from Gujarat ?
