I got my driving licence from Mumbai ( MH03) in the year in 2004.

I got my driving licence from Mumbai ( MH03) in the year in 2004. After that , I had to move to Kerala. In June 2015 my driving licence expired because I was 50 years old.

Before the 30 days grace period I went to the Kottayam RTO with all papers duly filled, but I was told I needed NOC from Maharashtra. Because of my difficult work situation, I could not to go to Mumbai immediately. Now, this year March 27, 2016, I am going to Mumbai. I will be there for about 10 days.

Now, my question is what is best and practical way for me do to get my licence renewed without much hassles. Whether it is best to again fill up again all the same forms for Mumbai RTO office or is it better to get NOC from the Mumbai RTO office for Kottayam RTO office? I wonder what would be most feasible option? Thank you.
