I had an appointment in passport office on 17/07/2017 which was successfully held. After that my police verification was held on 28 /07/2017 and police send the report on 31/07/2017. Since I keep checking my file status on website passport.gov.in. and from past one month it showing the status that "police verification report is under review at passport regional office the passport will dispatch once the report found clear. What does it mean and what 's the reason for delay.
