I have applied for the re registration of my bike in coimbatore

I have applied for the re registration of my bike in coimbatore RTO. I transferred my vehicle from maharashtra. They said the re registration will be done only after the response from maharashtra RTO and they provided a printed receipt. I just want to know how long this reciept is valid. How long i can ride the vehicle using this.
